What: The Cosmic Writers Summer Institute for Young Writers is an intensive two-week writing workshop for high school students. Writers of all genres — nonfiction, fiction, poetry, drama, and beyond — are welcome to join us as we break down the writing process from initial inspiration to phrase-by-phrase revisions. New writers will learn the fundamentals of storycraft and receive mentorship in how to write pieces that reflect their interests, identities, and communities. Experienced writers will hone specific and sustainable techniques to bring their projects to fruition and enrich them with vivid language.
